I've been using Gimp for quite some time now, but not 24/7 so I need help from time to time.

Depending on what your browser will allow (font that is) you may not show the selected text. You also need to have the font in your computer I think, for it to show. Otherwise you will get Gimp Chat's default font.
I have my computer's font for website's set to Harrington and I usually see it until the website's default font takes over.
A website author can have their site go to their default if they want or allow other people to use a different font. I don't see my computer's default here unless I use the font type in the drop down list. Closest Harrington looks like is OCR A Extended
