New with Gimp
I am portuguese and I love comics newspaper strips.
And I need many times to work so that I can better the images...
Need your help to bebetter myself with Gimp

Good evening.

Thank you very much in advance for your reply.
Perhaps you could guide me on a question I have regarding the use of GIMP and the "Perspective" option.

I'm, sort to speak, "addicted" to comics and I often have to use various methods to improve image quality, and I use "Perspective" to "straighten" them.

I learned on my own how to use Perspective to stretch the image so that it aligns with the guides that appear automatically.

My question is where to ask help in this question, is there any way to do this in batch mode, without having to drag the image to make it coincide with the guides?

I use GIMP 2.8.22 on Windows XP.

Ar, to get quicker answers to your questions. open a help thread. Anyway, I use this tool to deform the images.

79 yr old beginner with Gimp. My major hobby is Genealogy and restoration of pics from a widely separated (large) family. Many of these photo's are faded, cracked, stained or blurred! I am watching a ton of YouTube videos, but, my brain is resisting the learning! I'm still trying, though.

Question: Some of the tutorials mention Plugins. I don't find any for ver. 3.0.
Are there any?

Hi Jar. The main plugin I know of for now is the GMIC - Qt. https://gmic.eu/download.html unless you have a mac, is is currently not supported
Full of filters, a must have if you are restoring photos.
There have been a few other plugins for 3 around but only some have got them working, not as many as in version 2 yet. Someone will jump in and let you know what is available.
