Hello all,

Been lurking for a few months, learning the lay of the land...
New...ish to Gimp 2.6 (bout 6 months). Now just trying 2.8.
I run a Win 7 64bit environment on i7 2600K o/c 4.9Ghz, 2 nVidia GTX580 in SLI and 3 monitors.
Predominantly graphics and gaming are my interests.
Medically retired so have plenty of time and love learning new stuff.

Looking forward to knowing you all. :)

PS I have tried sending some PM's. They are stuck in my Outbox. Nothing in Sent Items. Is there some trick to PM's on this board?

Cheers
B10h4z4rd

Hi, B1, I believe the pm stays in "outbox" mode until the pm is opened.

Hi from the opposite side of the Globe. When your PM is read, it will disappear from your outbox but appear in your sent box. Sometimes it takes a while for people to read them. :)

I had a problem with Private Message too the first time.
Did you click the "Add [to]" in the leftside panel after selecting the username of the person you wanted to send it to?

Wow! I am jealous now. :cry That last pic looks like something from the movie Alien. The lights are cool looking. You are right about everthing getting outdated quickly. Next year my system will probably be another addition to the Smithsonian dinosaur exhibit. :hehe
