Need help with glitter on clipart pics

I'm so new at this GIMP 2.8 stuff,,,,I'm trying to learn how to use it,,,my most thing i like to learn is on how to color in images from a clipart using glitter or sparkles,,,,i know some people use this glitter thats not to glittery ,,,thats what i like to learn to do,,,,like i add a clipart,,then i'm trying to go to how to add glitter to the color part of the pic,,,can someone please help me thanks so much :paint

Thanks i will take a look at this one i try to look for some help on youtube but no luck then i went on Facebook n i liked Gimp n this guy mention this sight ,,,thanks for the info
