Hi folks, very new at this, just started learning to edit photos in gimp and am looking for every opportunity to learn more. I have edited a few of my landscape photos and am happy with the results but I have a pic now that I want to make fabulous and am just looking for ideas on what to do with it. Image thanks so much for your help. Ruth

Welcome, Ms Ruth. How about using Gimp to make sunlight rays highlight the people on the trail. By the way, this trail looks almost exactly like one at the park we live near...what city is the picture from?

thanks everybody for the friendly welcome and all the awesome ideas, loved them all! Sorry it took me so long to say thank you but I only get on internet here about once a week. The park is Sycamore Springs Park where I work, in southern Indiana near English, Indiana. Once again, loved them all, thanks everybody and I can't wait to start learning gimp, as much as I can in once a week visits, Lol. you guys are awesome!

Loved the idea of highlighting the family members with sun rays... now, is there a tutorial that will explain to me how to do that, step by tiny step?
