I'm 21-yr-old college student and mangaka by hobby. I just downloaded GIMP 2.6.7 last night for Windows 7 to help me advance my artwork (am currently trying to learn to draw manga digital art).
Please, forgive my newbness.

Hi, everyone!
Thank you all so much for welcoming me so kindly ^_^
Oh, and um to those of you wondering, I downloaded GIMP 2.6.7 because the website said it was the only version compatible with Windows 7.
Is this not true?
Should I unistall it and download the version 2.6.11?
I'm just trying to figure out what to do make my artwork look the best it possibly can.

GIMP 2.6.11 works just fine with Windows 7.

That's what I'm running, and so are many other people here.

What website did you read that in Kurangirl021? I have Windows 7 and Gimp 2.6.11 works perfectly in it. So does 2.7.5.
