The name is Mike and i'm a photography lover and i send my free time taking pictures around my home town and doing macro photography work. I really love gimp for doing edits to my photo's i will admit i love instagram style of filters and pixlr-o-matic filters if i could get them both in a script for gimp i would :yes :hi5 all day.
Now i can't do anything real awesome like you guys do and that's ok with me i just play with gimp and stay simple with effects and editing. Looking forward to finding lots more great scripts and plug-ins here to use to play with.

Hey Mike. I come mostly from a photography background as well. I just started using Gimp for more than photo editing a couple of months back. Like Erisian said, we all have to start somewhere. I've learned a lot since I joined here.
