I'm Lenny in Virginia, USA. I have been using The GIMP for about a year now and I know enough to be real dangerous with it. I stumbled on GIMP Chat a few monts ago when I needed to create some real shinny gold efffects. A Google search pointed me to Draconian's Metal Wurx Series. WOW, what an amazing series of tutorials!! I was not a registered user here then but, I studied & applied these methods with great results. I can't thank Draconian enough. I only wish I could get my new gold image to print as beautiful as it looks on the screen but, I intend to post that in the Help Forum right after I finish here.

Anyway, I am amazed at the overwhelming amount of outstanding information you all have posted here. Plus the wealth of scripts & downloads everyone has shared is unbelievable. I am sure I will be spending alot more time here. Thanks to you all for making this the most informative & helpful site on GIMP that I have seen anywhere. :jumpclap

Too bad there isn't an option to change the default "SHOW SPOILER" otherwise i would've put "Click to say Hello" instead of that default text.
