I'm Na11 and I'm 14 years old (well, 13, but I'm turning 14 on January 1st.). I'm really into anime, manga, jpop and anything Japan-related.

I'm planning on using gimp since I can't afford photoshop (sorry!), and I heard it's a powerful program. So with some alot practice I can create alot of things with it! I'm also stuck on a couple things and would like some help. And hey, why is this the only active gimp forum?

You will find there is a friendly bunch here, all ages and people from all over the world as well.
To answer your question it is probably because of the friendliness and also if you have a question you will find most times it is answered pretty quickly
