 Post subject: Norton hates GMIC...!!! Whaaaa...!!!!

hi everybody....!!! i came here mainly because i am having trouble getting Norton to like GMIC.... it throws a fit and foams at the mouth when i try to install it... sooo... i don't know what to do.... i hope to meet some knowledgeable people here who can help me...

besides, if i don't make a post i understand i may be thrown to the sharks... :gaah

I believe you'll need to let Norton know not to scan the G'MIC file.
It's been a while,
but I think you can add file exceptions within Norton.

It's been a while,
but I think you can add file exceptions within Norton.

If you can't, turn Norton off while installing. GMIC is usually pretty safe.

Let me know if still having a problem with Norton. I have Norton and it always makes me "trust" G'MIC. It has even done that with Gimp if it is a new version download.
