Hi. I'm 73 and tired of watching nothing on tv. I read a lot, but I've gotten interested in photo manipulation.
I also use Artrage to do a little of piddling around.
I'm amazed at how advanced Gimp has become ( I looked at it a few years ago)
I love the single window mode. :tyspin

Posting images can be done.
By using a media hosting website.
Much like what you see below.

This image was posted,
using Gimp Chat's provided Insert Image link button

placing the direct image link code given by the image hosting site,
into the Gimp Chat Insert Image dialog box.

Someone said I could post some Artrage stuff to get started, so here's one I did.
Oops says the .png format is invalid. What are the rules for posting pics? (size, format etc.)

Since many days there is a problem with image insertion on Gimp-chat (you can see a long discussion on that in a specific thread), but now maybe the solution is close....
At the moment you can only use link to external images (you can also see some experiments here around).
We all hope to have GC back to its full potentiality.

You need to make 5 posts before you can post links or images. as dinasset said you cannot post images at the moment. Something is broke. Hopefully the owner will fix it for us soon.
I tried again at 22:25 Australian Central Time today and still could not upload a picture.
