I am new to this forum. I have been a Gimp user for several years but still have a lot to learn. I am looking forward to participating. I manage my files in an old stand alone version of Lightroom. They are mostly edited in Gimp. I have a common folder and move from Lightroom to the common folder and then call up in Gimp. Then save from Gimp to the common folder. The edited version still shows in Lightroom and then gets moved to its proper resting place.

Don’t be afraid to start over. It’s a new chance to rebuild what you want.
