Hello from Canada. My name is Angela but much of my work is under the artist name of Ate My Crayons. I have been dabbling with GIMP since 2007. I am a founder and administrator of the Facebook group called, GIMP Tutorials & Showcase. Thank you for accepting me here.

Yes! The glory days, when Oregonian, Molly, GnuTux, and PhotoComix were around. There are plenty of others who I haven't mentioned, Rich, ofnuts, Lyle, MareroQ, SallyAnne, Wallace, and OldManGrumpy, just to name a few. Plenty of other notables are still with us, probably hiding somewhere in a computer closet, coding on something.

Welcome to the forum.
A few of the users here (including me) are unfamiliar with Your work (they don't use Facebook at all and that won't change).
An experienced user like You has signed up here - it will surely be a big advantage for other GimpChat users.

I knew PhotoComix quite well from our old Flickr days. Although, he only knows me by the name Ate My Crayons.

I miss Oregonian and Molly as well, Mahvin; PC as well. Believe Scott (aka, GnuTux and found of GIMPChat) is still around, but not sure; know he was sick a little whiles back.

Wallace, I will tell you why I didn't join earlier. I used to look at the posts anonymously (yes I know, shame on me). There are so many exceptional artists and people so skilled and knowledgeable about GIMP that it intimidated me.

I felt (and still do) like I wasn't good enough to be here. Questioning my GIMP skills after seeing so many talented members here.
