Hi, I'm new to this forum, but have been using Gimp (in Puppy Linux) since somewhere around 2010.

But not for many more advanced uses. Just largely doing photo adjustments -- mainly cropping, scaling, color and contrast/brightness types of things.

Lately also I've used the Transform>Perspective tool to adjust photos I take of paintings I do (traditional ones, oil on canvas). Usually photos of these need a lot of adjustments, The perspective tool really is handy for getting them squared and cropped.

But other than those few things, I'd say I'm very inexperienced with the greater capabilities of Gimp. so that's a big reason I've joined here.
