Hi everyone just downloaded gimp and happy I found this site. Been doing photography for a little while. Need to take it to the next level. Tried a 30 day free trial of photoshop wasn't real happy with it so thought I would try Gimp.

I've tried trial versions of Photoshop elements, cs3 and cs4 and to be honest, most of what they've got that Gimp hasn't, I don't need. When there's great free software around like this, why pay money? Feel free to ask any questions - we all help each other here.
