Yes, its in German.
I would like to translate it inenglish, too, but my english ist not goog enough for that.

gunoldb: i wish i knew german well enough to translate it. i'm going to try to teach gimp to users with intellectual disabilities and i could use the help of your book. sounds like it could also be a good help for a friend of mine who is a real computer noob but who likes the few gimp tricks i've been able to teach her so much she wants to learn more.
