Why are you on 2.6.10? I have 2.6 lieing around incase, but I am updated to 2.7.3 (partha).

I am just wondering this, and I don't think GIMP Version would make a difference.

Hope your tractor gets up and running soon

@Willy

Sorry I meant 2.6.11 :oops: :rofl

As for the preset issue I took some time today to dig around. I never found my .gimp 2.6 folder before because mine is under 'owner' not user or whatever everyone else had. :gaah All I could ever find was my gimp 2.0 folder. So I found the tool options folder and proceeded to place what i needed there. I finally found the preset button in GIMP when I had it open. Everyones GIMP looks different so I was not looking in the right place for mine. :roll: So I think I am good for now. :hehe

Anyways, My tractor is running. Yea!! I am now an official Allis Chalmers D-15 rewiring expert. :yes In reality once I learned a few things and found what I needed. I had to buy a few parts because wrong ones were used under the dashboard to replace old worn out ones and get a diode to keep the alternator from draining my battery. My first and major issue. I am scratching my head now wondering why all the guys around me could not figure it out since so many of them knew so much??? :roll: All there is left is to rewire my lights will do that another day. :)

Thanks for checking up on me Willy!! :) :tyspin

Rod the version can make a difference but only a major version change (as from 2.6 t9o 2.7) ,because where changes in 2.7 for bruish dynamics...of course brushes will work anyway also in 2.7 but some preset may not work or not as supposed

Lianam i think you didn't install completly the problem is not find much find the place for brush or palette but install the presets for brush

i shouldreinstall gps tomorrow if you didn't solved yet i may trry to help
