I really love that PC. It is beautiful. I do think you should either leave out Windows friendly though, unless you add in Linux and Mac. Dunno, just my opinion

I think it would be great for the different OS builds to use different splash screens. Would be unique.

Molly you are right but i was lazy

i mean i have the xcf file somewhere with the txt on 3 different layer so i could remove that "windows friendly" in a heartbeat, but i just uploaded the first derived png i found

Maybe you could add the 3 of them very small like they are floating out there and not enough to take away from the main features. It is very nice, I would hate to see it spoiled with too much print unless it is worked in somehow.

If you want to change the load splash to have the same one every time place it in
Gimp-2\share\gimp\2.0\images it must be named gimp-splash.png

If you want to use it along with the other splash place it in
YourUserFolder\.gimp-2.8\and create a folder named splashes.
Place the images you want in there.GIF's and PNG's and JPEG's all will work.
Yes even GIF animations.

The files in this folder "splashes" can be named anything you wish. Gimp simply loads each one at different intervals.
