I do still have a very functional Wacom Intuos Pro (PTH-860),
sitting around if needed,
but I don’t generally use my tablet much these days.
With a £50 / ~$67 budget,
You're looking at smaller tablets,
brands like the already mentioned Huion tablet,
or a XP-Pen,
or perhaps Veikk.
Models in the XP-Pen Deco range,
or the Huion Inspiroy range,
tend to sit around your budget,
and offer a few good features as well.
I’d avoid very cheap tablets or writing pads,
as some may not provide proper pressure sensitivity,
among other things,
if they work at all.
A small, non-screen tablet can work perfectly fine,
and may also begin to feel natural over time.
Hope this helps!
