Hello, so i often used the colorcube analysis to count the number of unique colors, as i make sprites and sprite-adjacent stuff that relies on low color count for stylistic reasons. The colorcube analysis served me well for that, but now under Gimp 3.0 that plugin was removed, sadly without replacement as far as my searches have turned up. It'd be realy handy if the histogram showed this info, or sth... I have found the source code as .c but i'm not experienced with gimp plugins and scripts. Is there any help/alternative for this?

There was a discussion about this on the bugtracker here:
