Is anyone else getting this error trying to run the script in Windows XP 32 bit with Gimp Painter version 2.8.3?

It is a matter of an oversight, due to the fact that, while I was working on this script, I was also handling another one of similar content, so that by mistake I must have swapped some fragments of code between the two files.

As you would have noticed, this error should occur only when trying to operate on layer groups.

So I will fix this error as soon as possible and post the new version of the script on the GPR, most likely within a few hours.

Okay, I have just posted the new version of the script on the GIMP Plugin Registry.

Anyway, note that it does not work with layer groups, as replicating this type of drawables would require too much memory and can result in possible crashes and slowdowns of GIMP.

As a matter of fact, if you try to launch the script when the active layer is a layer group and you click "OK" on the dialog window, you will receive a message that warns you of this planned inability. No real crash happens like that, but simply the script does not start at all.

I tested the updated script on both GIMP 2.6.12 and GIMP 2.8.8 and the problem now seems to be resolved.
