Script error or not?

I have just installed the Antique Metal script and gmic_gimp and when I tried to create a logo I got the following messages: [edit)

I am running with Gimp 2.6.12 on Linux Mint 32bit using gmic_gimp linux32 and Antique Metal.scm rel 0.01

Am I doing something wrong or is there a glitch somewhere?

You must have Gmic installed to run this script, I'll post your error for you

could you reply to inform me if you have the Gmic plugin installed

gmic_gimp plugin is located in /home/john/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins. (configured to execute)

G'Mic also exists within the "filters" tab. (vers 1.5.8.5. linux32)

I will fire up gimp on my old Win7 machine and install gmic and antique. Just to see. Probably get back to you sometime tomorrow (Fri 11 Apr).

Yes I can. In both Linux and Win7. (still in the process of install antique metal plugin)

Ran Antique Logo on Win7 and ran like a charm... Woo Hoo!

Yes. It should run on Linux.

Just a point. My Win7 machine use Gimp 2.8. Might be a good idea if I update Gimp on my Linux box. I will try it tomorrow and get back to you. My brain hurts and I think I need either sleep or coffee....

I wrote the script on Gimp 2.6 so that is not the problem, what gmic version do you have on your Linux

Same version.

Could not wait until tomorrow. Updated Linux Gimp to 2.8.10. The Antique Metal worked like a charm. Looks like the upgrade to Gimp 2.8 did the trick! Woo Hoo!

Now where did I put my coffee....?
