Group offset script

Hi, does anyone know if there is a newer version or something similar to this plug-in available, http://registry.gimp.org/node/26996
this version doesn't work with 2.8.22

Could you be more specific than "doesn't work with 2.8.22" ... what doesn't work? Do you get an error message?

Actually a new Gimp bug it seems: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=783742

See below for a work around (script is slightly different: Menu is in Layer/Transform)

Apologies for the vagueness Kevin, I started writing then realised I had to rush out the door, so finished the post abruptly like that.. :oops:

TBH can't remember the error message, just knew it didn't work lol

The real question is whether anyone has successfully used this with 2.8.x... I'm tracking the bug and it seems to have been there since 2.8.0.
