Has this script been updated recently? I ask because I have it but I'm not sure if it's the correct version.

By recently, do you mean since 27th July this year? Original post in this thread has the latest I think.

I did a stroke to spokes made three of them then did circles.
After stroking the paths I ran your symmetry script on it. The one I will post here is only 1/4 the size of it.

There are implicit right triangles in the graphic, so you possibly have been hypotenused...

Updated the script minutes ago (1.2). Augmented the doc and added a "cross hair" function. Enjoy.

I'm eager to use it, but does it work with GIMP 2.10.18? Here's what I see after refreshing ScriptFu, not at all what it seems you are describing. No "Shapes" menu item.

It is a plug-in ofn-path-to-shape.py not a script-fu (something.scm)
Should go in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins and Gimp restarted for it to load.

Thank you. That did the trick. Now if I only knew how to use GIMP better. Sigh. I am an engineer, not an artist. So much to learn.

Gimp is quite easy to learn if you are an engineer...
