I have finally uploaded this update, that has options to allow the user to add a Faux 3D appearance to text in a new image.



You can download, extract and install the filter to your user plug-ins folder.
Open a custom font file and run the filter with:

Filters>>Custom Font Tools>>Custom Font Faux 3D v.0.04 Tabbed
