I have ubuntu 11.10 installed on a flash drive and have my gimp tools linked to the gimp folders on my hard drive. Everything is working fine except mathmap. It is not showing up in my menu. So, I figured I would install it on the flash drive. I went to the mathmap webpage and found the linux version missing. Oh man. And every search for it leads me back to the webpage. Anyone know where I can get a copy for linux?

Download the source file and compile it. It worked for me. :)

Thanks, Mahvin. Tried that, but it says it requires doxygen, which with all its dependencies tops off at 700 mb. I'm running my OS from a flashdrive and don't want to dedicate so much space to something I may only use a time or two. But thanks anyway. I don't know what's wrong with me. I should have thought of that, what with the source code link right below the download links.

I wasn't reading the details, myself (flashdrive).

It took 7 hours for me to install 11.10 to a flashdrive. I was shocked.

7 hours? Wow. Mine was about 20 minutes. Did you install through unetbootin or from a live copy? I installed from a liveusb.

I used unetbootin to create the Live copy, and then installed to a second flash drive.

I'll take back the fact it wasn't the install itself that took 7 hours, but also the file updates. What a nightmare that was.
