sometimes the filter has some problems to center the resulting image but anyway most of time the result is very good

There is a Pixel Bender filter based on this

Again they are not gimp plugin but the code ( ActionScript and Pixel Bender script)are available for whoever want try a port as gimp (or Gmic or MatMhap ..or..)plugins

The kaleidoscope one was fun. I'd generate one I liked really well, and it would go off the image which was a bit annoying. This one's not bad.



The Guilloché Patterns Generator was fun until the generator went gray and there were no more controls. Might be my browser. I did get to play with the controls so I could see what it did but after that ...

I'll have to go back and try again. May have to clear my cache first.

Here's one of the Guilloché patterns. I didn't like their coloring so I brought the black and white one into GIMP and did my own coloring.

Played with the Droste filter in G'MIC on that one.

yes the Kaleidoscope app seems a bit buggy ,let the image go off, and hail to fill all white spaces
and well most of paramether are a mistery...still can make very nice effect

(i didn't try the plugin yet not sure if is fixed there...but anyway plugin is for PS e AE )



IT IS BUGGY..but fascinating too
