Hi Graechan - not blown away by storms yet, but we have had a week of days with multiple thunderstorms; still it fills my water tanks and gives me more time to play with GIMP!

Just tried out your new script ... threw in random settings and ...

... brilliant results, thanks for the script, but it now means more GIMP to fit in to the time available!

No I didn't. It wouldn't run for me. I will download your latest update and see what happens.

Graechan - my 'strange' output is possibly caused by my choice of font 'Belfast', which emulates digital signboards as in airports. I used it in all examples.

Sallyanne your message has me perplexed and should not be happening if you select 'Gmic Logos' and click OK you will get back this Logo
Image
your error
Image
refers to a string length argument of which there is only 1 in the script and it's the same one I've used in all my Logo scripts to check if your gimp has the default font I have entered

Thanks, Graechan. Working fine wow. It would nice to have the text on a separate layer so it could be further manipulated.

Is there any reason why the picture frame and the text need to be on the same layer?

Also, perhaps just having a copy of the original text before G'MIC is applied would be useful?
