'O' and Molly if you mean a gradient fill for the nova I tried but it was no good,
I wanted to fill from nova centre outwards but was unsuccessful maybe GnuTux could help with that but I'm not sure where he is
I think you may have missed my request for making the blurring optional.

I have only used 'select to path' for stroking so far in Gimp, so I am not sure that I understand just what/how the path feature impacts/is used in this feature ... any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Oldmangrumpy In line nova the nova was always created in the centre but with line nova gt the centre of the line nova is the starting point of an active path and the length of the path determines the line nova gt offset

Graechan - if one were to curve the path would line nova GT curve the spokes?

That's something you could check out yourself, SysT. I did, it doesn't curve the spokes.

@Graechan ... thanks for the reply about the blurring.

SystemX The spokes will not curve as the only info I take from the path are the start and finish points
GnuTux I'm glad your OK I'll send you the gradient fill version when it's finished and tested

Thanks Graechan. There is probably a gizmo in Gmic to twist it.

@Graechan - thanks for answering my question; so simple and there I was looking for something far more complex!

I applied G'MIC - Atristic:Black Crayon Graffiti to the Line Nova to get that effect, Molly.

The rest was rendered with EnviroMap, Starry Sky & Planet Ring scripts, then tweaked.

Cool picture Tux! I love the updated script. Has everything in it anyone could wish for. Don't know how I got started on Egyptian stuff, but maybe this is a picture of young Akhenaten in the sun's rays.
