C plugin programming help

Does anyone know if it's possible to prevent a plugin from showing up under the filters/ recently used menu?

gimprc file might do it, look for 'plug-in-history-size'.

My question is "why the hack"? What is wrong with the "recently used" list? This is a very useful feature...
