Why do I still have 2 layer effects showing in Gimp[SOLVED]

I deleted layerfx-2.8 months ago. I replaced it with layerfx. Now why is the 2.8 one still showing in my Gimp. This is a real poser.
Below is a screen of my mollys-plug-in folder, then a screen of the dialogues of them both stilll showing.

The older layerfx.py registers itself twice, lines 5731 and 5732

comment one of the lines out.

Ok, I found them Rich. Will it hurt to leave them in? if so, which line do I comment out? Would I just delete that line?
I am not very up on messing with plug-ins

You can comment one line out with a # as in that screenshot of mine, but the 2 locations are not any problem, I would just leave 'as-is'.

I think I will do that now that I know why it is there, I don't have to use it. So, this means that everyone that has this layerfx.py has the same thing, right?

Layerfx shows up for me twice as well. I never noticed before that it was part of the right click layers menu before. Something new learnt today :cool

...I knew it was there but I figured it was a remnant of the layerfx -2.8 that I deleted months ago.
