I try 5 different PY scripts and none of them show up. I have copy them
to my Plug-in folder, where my NIk plugins are and they work find, I have Gimic working,
I try making a folder for them, that doesn't work, I tried no folder and that don't work.
How do you get them to work and what are the rules for that.

It seem to be like, everyone is saying, just copy them to your plug-ins folder
and your good to go. :( I did see something about there was a change in version of what will work
with Gimp 2.?? to Gimp 3, because of Gimp being updated with changes.

I'm new to Gimp 3, I'm coming from Paint Shop Pro 2023, which is no longer being Supported.
They have not updated any of their software for last 3 years now. I think their done.
I know the just of Scripting and the concept of it, I have written many of them Paint Shop Pro
over the years. My goal is to convert all my resources over to Gimp 3, patterns, brushes, displacement maps,
scripts, photo effects and process of things like that as I learn Gimp.

I see you have a "gimp-stroke-arrows-main" folder. Is it for my https://github.com/Scallact/gimp-stroke-arrows plugin?

Make sure you downloaded the released zip file here. https://github.com/Scallact/gimp-stroke ... s/tag/v0.8, by clicking on the "Source code" link.

Inside the downloaded folder, there is a folder named "pl_stroke_arrows". You must paste this folder into your GIMP plug-ins folder. If you are on Mac or Linux, you must set the pl_stroke_arrows.py file inside to executable.

As a general rule, the containing folder must have the same name as the python file inside, without the .py extension.

Yes sadly 2.10 plug-ins will not work with Gimp 3.0...
I have no plans to convert yet!
