Last week I wanted to check the original name of a Gimp Custom Font that I had saved but renamed - a good while ago. It took me ages to track it down and it turned out to have come from Trandoductin's site. I decided to compile an index of the Custom Fonts to save me time in the future - I didn't realise how many fonts have now been created.

Here are the pages in PDF format in case anyone else finds them useful.

| am sure that some entries are not quite correct - but if anyone would like to suggest corrections I would be happy to oblige.

Nope you didn't dream it, I changed from 7 posts per page back to 10 posts per page, since it can handle it and not too slow now and 10 posts per page makes more sense math wise to know which page to go to to look for a certain post number.

Shall I change the index back to page numbers now if 10 is the magic number?

If you refer to them by post # it's safer because that doesn't change.

I don't know if you know or not, but just in case you don't.
There's a showcase which shows thumbnails of images which for custom fonts members usually attach a sample image along with .xcf font download so another quick way to look through fonts on GL is looking at the Showcase of Custom Fonts for GIMP. Then you can click on the whichever preview/thumbnail you like and it'll take you there generally the font is in the same post or around the one before it if the image was posted by someone who used a previous post's font.

Roughly 175 fonts now (35 per page * 5)

It'd be nice if this feature was available to GC's topics as well but that's something i can't control so yeah your index is good for GC.

Yes this one was intended for GimpChatters - where we are living in the dark ages, without your bells and whistles. If only GimpLearn was GimpChat.
