I believe i have heard of this from Davies Media Design. (On YouTube)
Personally i believe your better off sticking with normal Gimp 2.10.38 and if you want Gimp to act more like PhotoShop you can change the keyboard shortcuts and dock everything to look and feel like Photoshop.

I don't believe Gimp Photoshop is much different than Gimp itself other than more brush dynamics and mypaint brushes (which are already part of Gimp now).

I wouldn't trust anything not distributed by a reputable source.

So out of 60 or 70 anti-virus listed in that website which did "test" that application, there one > Jiangmin, an unknown Chinese "anti-virus", which tells you that it is infected, but the 60 or 70 other ones, a lot more well known and with a better reputation (arguably), are telling you that's OK, and you won't trust them, the more well known anti-virus, but instead trust Jiangmin, which is something you never heard about and the only one who has (pseudo) detected something?
I mean 60-70 against 1, and that 1 nobody heard about it... :puzzled :puzzled

For me it would be a very simple decision. Now it's your computer and nobody can take that decision for you.
