I'm happy to announce the release of the 1.5.1.2 version of G'MIC, including the plug-in for GIMP.
There are nothing really new in this release, mainly bug corrections and small improvements.
One new filter has been done anyway : 'Rendering / Shade bobs', to render random-like patterns with
cumulative circles.

I'm planning to slow down the development of G'MIC the next weeks/months, I think this is a quite stable version now.

Seems that only PC's filters are updating for additional filter sets.

Yes, I suppose samj could be a 'release technician' for the G'MIC project, as it can be done with the Sourceforge system. I'll try to ask her.

Rod: no, all filters are now dispatched in the main filter tree, except for PhotoComiX who didn't make the changes yet

your zip make anything much easier i must just correct 2 details:

i need the old version of graphic boost and graphic novel in testing because some dependencies with other filters
(yes i may transfer dependencies on the new versions but write in code for me is always a challenge , and require a lot of time,even if mostly to find the right mental attitude to do it...so i think better move them in testing also because where many preset around for both filters that would not work with last versions )

Hopefully should be possible for me to replace the file without changing its URL anyway i will post here at soon i finish

Our thanks to you as well for this wonderful plugin. It's been enjoyable learning how to use it, and seeing some of the effects it produces. We appreciate the time and effort you've put in making and improving it. We also thank all the others who have developed filters for it.

PhotocomiX : I don't have the old versions of GraphicNovel and GraphicBoost anymore. I let you manage those filters, that's the principles we try to follow with the new filters system.
If you need help, I can try to look at your code and suggest some fixes. Just let me know.

Not sure if justpasteit may not just fit the bill PC; they even give you an editing link along with a share link (they are separate) so you can continue to add to your post as needed. I noticed a few created sites that have been there for years so it appears to be permanent. Can't beat the price either (i.e., free).

Deviantart changed something in the Sta.sh (a 10GB storage for member) so i can't anymore replace the files keeping the url but only add or delete, that make harder update

on DA I have unlimited storage space also for "scrap" but i can't upload file with weird extension (as .gmic) if not zipped

Wow; that's one heck of a list MareroQ; glad you created it. I wonder if there could be another info pop up within G'MIC that can show a list like this?

I still have to port my preset but here the problem how Gmic may handle few hundreds of presets that can't be grouped in subfolders ?

As example Graphic Novel allow at least 60 very different effects...but most of users without the guide preset as starting point will just stick to 1 of the 60, the default
