MathMap Sphere Options

I always forget about how good the sphere options are in MathMap.

Square canvas, 480x480.
MathMap | Distorts | Angular Division.
New layer, [color], screen mode.
New from visible layers or merge.
Map | pick a Sphere option.

Nice one, Erisian!
MathMap is fun to play with, although it can be a bit slow sometimes. I wish someone would revive the development!

This plug-in is extremely hard to compile in windows.

If the developer would keep up the GIT repository i would try and compile it again. The latest GIT is 2009 i believe.

Rod to many compilers just say it's to hard because others have failed without actually trying themselves why not give it a whirl and see

Mathmap Distort>sphere is my favorite way to create these too Odin. Cool thread to start.

Maybe it is. Maybe the drow of Am' Athir use these creatures as tennis balls - who knows?

lylejk: i like that one! if you put many of those together to make a seamless pattern you will have a pattern made of spheres made of checks made of starbursts

Created and mapped a seamless moon surface pattern to a sphere and placed on a Hubble image background.
