I have:
- G'MIC 1.5.6.1 for Mac OS X Mountain Lion.
- Gimp for OS X 2.8.6
- Mac OS X 10.9 (yes, I know it's not out yet, technically speaking)

The filters that are currently there are working. It seems I only have 490 filters.

Among the things that are missing, I so far know about the entire Enhancements category and Experiments in the Various category.

I have tried to refresh from the internet, but nothing changes.

Does anybody have any idea as to why? If necessary I will provide more information.

I don't see "deconvolution" there... or is it called something different?

Sorry.

I have 501 now - just refreshed. Try installing another G'MIC program and see if that helps. (uninstall the other first)

I now have 491?
And according to the link, there's supposed to be 494... so I'm only missing 3.

And deconvolution is not in the link either. It's probably been renamed, it might be sharpen?

I think I'll survive for now.

Thanks,
gimp

To test (on Mac) older filter sets try in Terminal:

cd
ls .gmic* # list all gmic filter files
mv .gmic_def.1561 _gmic_def.1561 # backup the actual one if you have no internet
cp .gmic_def.1550 .gmic_def.1561 # copy an (existing) old one
# recall gmic plugin, (don't do internet refresh, that will overwrite the just copied one)
# after testing do internet refresh or cp _gmic_def.1561 .gmic_def.1561

This is a brand new installation of G'MIC, so it wouldn't have older files.

The only G'MIC related file I can see in ~ is .update1561.gmic

But I see what you are getting at. I will try this later, once I have internet access on my computer.

Thanks,
gimp

Yes try WITH internet access
And first REFRESH the filters :
even if now the "external sources" are enabled by default authors don't wait new releases to add new filters so even in recent build you may (often..) get some more filters by refreshing

Folder Various / Experimental has been removed as the filters therein were not really useful (and was broken since one update).
Enhancement has been split into two folders Repair and Details, and no filters have been removed during this process.
The previous Deconvolution filter is now known as Details / Sharpen [deblur].

I wasnt aware that a version for mac had been released as yet. Although having used parthas version of 2.8.4 I would only be using his builds in future as well.
