I started learning GIMP about two weeks ago because I needed some animated .gifs for a Java program that I was working on. I ended up taking a break from Java to (hopefully ... one day ...) become a GIMP master.

I've studied all of tutor4u's and GIMPtrick's GIMP videos on YouTube and I'm working through VscorpionC's videos currently. Following along with dual monitors has been a very effective way to learn and I VERY grateful to the folks who've taken the time to make these tutorials! I'm much further along than I would've been via simple trial-n-error or mere reading from an article.

And a huge thank you to the folks who make this board possible!
