Hello :) I have no clue if I am introducing myself at the right place or not. I've been trying to figure out how to do it for a good 45 mins . I guess I took the scenic route :
As you can see I'm not just a newbie with Gimp, but with the whole process of a forum. I will do the best I can to learn quickly.
I've seen some really awesome things that all of you have been able to create. Truly incredible work. I am hoping that with practice and patience ( on my part and yours ) I can learn here.
Where would you suggest I start ? Any and all help I can get will be appreciated. Thanks for accepting me into your group.

I'd sat start by playing with things to see what they do and learn what the tools are, then see what kind of things you wanna make (drawing, photo manipulations, posters etc...) and work on learning that.

Welcome! :D

I'd like to note that" Beginning with Gimp" is just the first in the list of Essential GIMP Tutorials.

I didn't do anything special, Molly. For this, I used FIle/Create/Logo menu option with BRL's default settings, choosing a Solid Color & Bevel Slope Round V1.
