In my opinion, Queen of coffee, using maxRGB enhances the bright of the silk and makes the whole of the pic even, but the coffee of the background has vanished.

My try in this topic. I applied to the original pic G'MIC (sharpen tones) then I applied Colour balance and finally I applied Boost Fade.

I noticed that me too, but i didn't find out a correct solution (for now...)

what about trying to inject some more brown?

I have applied layer mask and something in GMIC too. I hope this pic to be in a properly size.

When I saw her little deformation in her feet toes, I guess she is a ballerina.

good images, the original and the enhanced one (and good size for me...)
I just took both (original and enhanced), and put one over the other, 50-50, normal mode
