I downloaded plasma2 and put it in my user Plug-ins folder and yes it has permissions checked. Does anyone know why it isn't showing up under Render? thanks.
I have it installed in my windows7 and works okay there

I don't know where I got it. I just googled it and I saw PC one for Windows but not sure where I got this one,

EDIT: I now tried this one and it doesn't work for me.

I compiled it for Linux_x64 using Fedora. Extract the binary into your plug-ins folder and start GIMP. I have also attached the source code for those who might need to compile for a different OS.

Shows up under Filters/Renders/Clouds/Plasma2
