I have the slinky-0.3.py file installed, but I can't for the life of me find it in my menus. I know I used it in the past before going to Gimp 2.8.20, but now I can't find it anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

For most purposes Slinky is superseded by path-waves...

Created this one with Slinky. Just downloaded path-waves and will be playing with it for sure.

Nice 3D illusion on the coil with the subtle drop shadows. Now, how about adding some to the "worm"?

The drop shadow is there, too. You might have to full size it to see it.

Nidhogg,
That is much more of a collider than mine! Excellent!

Thank you Pat. Your green train is cool too PhotoMaster. :clap

Pat, you can download slinky from Ofnuts's Sourceforge path-tools page:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-p ... s/scripts/

But I suggest using path-waves instead of slinky.
Slinky can only make sine coils, whereas path-waves has 5 different periodic wave shapes.
It's right above slinky in the bottom part of the list.

Thank you Nidhogg. I will check to see if I have the latest version of Slinky. I will also check out path-waves also. Thanks again.
