Thank you Graechan. This should be very useful. I wonder if the script could be updated to accept any GIMP filter?
Such as
Desaturate all layers
Color Balance all layers
Use layerfx.py on all layers ..ect..ect.
Possibly a drop down list of available filters to choose from.

That script has already been done see 'Multiple Layer Actions' on GimpScripts multiple-layer-actions

it will now desaturate and colorify all layers and I could add settings for color-balance but layer effects.py is of no use to this type of script.
Wallace try Bimp for layer effects

I wouldn't know.
I downloaded this script and when installing it I already had it and it was of the same file size as the previous on that I replaced.
Is this right?

Sorry Wallace but I haven't updated the script yet, been adding Color-balance

now there are 12 actions, are there any more needed?
"Set Invisible"
"Set Visible"
"Invert"
"Clear Selection"
"Layer to Image Size"
"Semi-Flatten"
"Flatten"
"Add Alpha"
"Remove Layers from Image"
"Desaturate"
"Colorify"
"Color Balance"

I can't think of any offhand, but I'll be sure to let you know and I'm sure others will do the same.

Not sure yet. :) I will have to check and see which ones won't work with CTRL F key to repeat last filter. Although using this filter would probably be much faster than using that shortcut key on every layer. :P

Still not quite sure why CTRL F is not available for certain plug-ins.
