Wow, I didn't expect a whole welcoming committee.

Thank y'all for the warm reception. I'll try to make sure I deserve it.
Odin, I've been stalking the tuts and other threads for a bit now before joining. And I've spent the last few months watching every tut on YouTube. Okay, maybe not *every* tut. But at least three of them. I've actually been playing with GIMP for several years. However, it's only been within probably the last year or so that I've been serious enough to learn anything more than the basics. Nuts, when I started I did all my work on one layer because I had no idea why in the world anybody would want to complicate things by using multiple layers. Yeah, I was a goof. I still don't understand the more advanced stuff I see being discussed around here. I'm far enough along, though, that I'll edit scripts to change which menu they fall under so I can find them easier. I think I have as much fun trying to organize things as I do actually using the program. Although my OCD does go bonkers trying to understand why there has to be three different locations for everything. Man, can I ramble. Ooh! A squirrel!
Wallace, that's a fun pic. I need to work on something similar for my sig once I'm allowed to have a sig here. I have one I plan to use. But it's always good to have several to choose from.
