Hello all and especially our moderator, Oregonian. I am an Idahoan but I live in China now. I used Adobe Elements for a long time but I am trying to use open source software for practical (little money) and theoretical (good things are free) reasons. It's a big transition but I'm looking forward to learning more about GIMP.
