G'MIC

well I have done all the right things and I still am not sure if its working or not...
Anyone be able to tell me how I can tell if its happening please... I am not even sure I know what it contains as I cannot see anything which is different to what it used to be. I,ve followed instructions for installing to the letter. It's getting quite frustrating....Thanks folks!! :gimp

I trust you are able to open G'MIC. It doesn't look a lot different in the dialog box except for the name.

Be sure the Internet square is checked (under the filter list) and then click the Refresh button - wait long enough for it to finish.

hmm, on that flickr link one guy said:

Forest (GKweb.it) says:

Anyway: to those who are wondering how to install G'MIC (or other GIMP plug-ins as well) on Mac OSX, I would share this information: the right thing to do is:
- Right click (or control-click) on GIMP's icon. A contextual menu appears.
- Choose "Show package content" from that contextual menu. Doing so, the application icon opens like a folder (well, it is, actually, a special kind of folder called "application package").
- Within that folder, navigate to Contents>Resources>lib>gimp>2.0>plug-ins
- Put G'MIC (or the other plug-in you want to install) within that "plug-ins" folder.
- Close all the folders and start GIMP as usual. You should now be able to use G'MIC (or the other plug-in).
