Another filter coming out from my "walks" thru Gimp/G'mic.
I found possible to create a painting look just using G'mic Hair Locks.
The filter has two options, the "soft strokes" addressing mainly people manipulations, the "brilliant" for any other subject.

I really like this effect, too.

I like to have both options. I think that even both options can be applied to views and people most of the time.

BTW, as a post-process I tried also to create both outcomes on the same subject then mix them up in a new image.
