For my filters i created some more variations on layer modes,

I use mainly to merge images on a direct derivate (as example to merge a photo on a line art duplicate of the same photo) and for artistic pourpose.

But maybe other may found useful for other tasks so i thought to share but i didn't put yet on my source (maybe i will not sure i fear to bury the others) you may get from here http://pastebin.com/jMGCHXnu

Here some examples

the 2 images to be merged

All are very cool, and I am loving Vivid Edges for cartooning. Thanks for sharing, PC!

Vivid Edges is as
gmic Edges + duplicate the layer & merge in overlay mode

I found quite effective the Colors mode too. as example to combine a color photo with a gegl C2G duplicate , or some other BW manip.

These new layer modes are not in my GMIC as yet or are they presets?

Check his pastebin link in the first post. Those filters need to be added to the .gmic file.

They are filters, not presets. Presets go in .gmic_faves.
