DebiDalio: :wow - i think they're all stunning! my vote is for golden dream (for the sunny bright colours and the lovely shapes - the actual pattern has an eastern flair and looks so well defined) or water lily passion (for the harmony of the colours, the 3-d feel of the pattern units and for the general loveliness of it).

Wildcat Lab Centrifuge for me.
Just a thought, your patterns are 500px very close to a logical choice of 512px which is 8x. I use preset for 512x512px for that reason. Here's an example using the G'MIC checkerboard.

#1 or #3 ... Color explosion tends to catch the artistic eye, and the not-so-artistic eye.

Interesting point. I'll have to keep the powers of 2 in mind.

Well, it looks like Blue Star Supernova, with 6 votes, has beat out the others. I've written a tutorial for it. It's actually my fave, along with Wildcat Lab Centrifuge, though I also like the unexpected 3D effect I got with Water Lily Passion. It's always so tough to choose among one's children. :)

For those who are interested, here are the original patterns that I used to make the rotoidoscopes.

This scarlet macaw feathers pattern became Blue Star Supernova:

This Queen butterfly wing pattern became Fire Dragon Ring:

I like the second one for its warm and elegant colors, which remind me of the season we are going through right now (in the northern hemisphere). :grinumb
