When certain trees must be cut, it is proposed to some artists to come and work on wood to create works that will be used to decorate the park or inside buildings.

Kew gardens is a fantastic area for those who like nature, that is not the case of my childrens, after two hours of visit, they begin to bored and get tired.

It’s time to lunch, we are at Piccadilly Circus, it’s probably the area where is the number of people is the more impressive, it makes me think to Manhattan, a lot of noise, movement in every directions, lights and colors on display screens, the place give dizzy.

During our very fast lunch, I have encountered a young French living in London since 2 years, there are a lot of French, near of 400,000 only in London, which represents the fifth French city in the world !
He advice me to take the bus number #9 and #15, these lines are the best ways to visit the center of London quickly and readily, there is almost no traffic jam since the mayor has set tolls for motorists, and only for the cost of a bus ticket, the ultimate trick is to use the second floor of bus, if possible the first 4 places behind the glass, which provides a panoramic view and allows to take some photos in height.

Example of photo taken from bus, very useful for landscapes or global views

I always wondered what these street artists felt during performances, especially in winter, it's always strange to see human beings to stay immobile like this.

We wanted visit the National Gallery at Trafalgar, but there was too much people in the queue, so I give you a little bit of history about this museum.

The National Gallery is an art museum. Founded in 1824, it houses a collection of over 2,300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to 1900.It is the fourth most visited art museum in the world, after the Musée du Louvre, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the British Museum.
Unlike comparable museums in continental Europe, the National Gallery was not formed by nationalising an existing royal or princely art collection. It came into being when the British government bought 38 paintings from the heirs of John Julius Angerstein, an insurance broker and patron of the arts, in 1824.
The present building, the third to house the National Gallery, was designed by William Wilkins from 1832–8. Only the façade onto Trafalgar Square remains essentially unchanged from this time, as the building has been expanded piecemeal throughout its history.

I found this area on the weird place because it is different from all the statues, in fact the city of London did not have enough money to order statues for all columns, the mayor has proposed a temporary exhibit work of an artist instead so as not to leave an empty column. That is why currently there is a sculpture of a child on a rocking horse.

The Embassy of Canada, I think this is the one that is best located in London.
